DOCX

Up to 10 DOCX files, 50 MB total.

    Preview

Choose a DOCX file to preview it.

Files stay in your browser. Fonts and complex layouts may change.

Choose searchable text or a page image for your PDF

Convert DOCX documents into separate PDFs in your browser. Editable text PDF keeps rendered text selectable and searchable, with graphics in an image background. Flattened image PDF makes each page an image. Neither mode recreates Word's paragraph editing structure, and complex document layouts can differ from Microsoft Word.

    Step by step

    1. Add your DOCX files and select a file in the list to review its preview. If a file cannot render, remove it before converting. Older DOC and DOCM files must first be saved as DOCX.
    2. Choose Editable text PDF for searchable text, or Flattened image PDF for an image of the rendered page. Check page breaks, tables, special characters and substituted fonts in the preview.
    3. Create the PDFs. A single result downloads automatically; a batch provides individual links and a ZIP. Open the downloaded PDFs to check the pages and text, since the browser preview cannot guarantee an exact Word layout.

    Settings and limits

    Output modes
Editable text is the default and downloads directly as PDF. Its graphics background is rasterized while the text remains selectable. Flattened output has image-based pages; ordinary text selection will not work.
    Files and pages
Add at most 10 files and 50,000,000 bytes of DOCX input in total. Each document can generate at most 200 PDF pages. An empty, unsupported or oversized incoming batch is rejected; it is not partially added.
    Downloads and printing
Each DOCX becomes its own PDF; the tool does not merge documents. The ZIP bundles the individual results. Print / Save as PDF prints the selected preview document in editable mode; it is separate from the direct PDF download.

    Worked example

Download editable-report.docx. Open it, keep Editable text PDF selected, review the single-page report, and create the PDF. In your PDF viewer, try selecting Monthly report and searching for 125.00.

    Download the example files

The source contains Monthly report, Total: 125.00 and Prepared by Bjørn. Check those lines and the accented character in your result. Repeat with Flattened image PDF and compare text selection. This simple sample helps check the two modes; it does not prove that a complex document will keep its layout.

    Questions and troubleshooting

Why does the PDF differ from Word?

The document is rendered by a browser library, with available fonts and estimated layout. Columns, floating elements and page breaks can change. Simplify the source or use Word's own PDF export when an exact Word rendering is essential.

Does editable mean I can edit it like a Word document?

No. It means the PDF contains selectable text rather than only page images. Editing that PDF requires a PDF editor and does not restore the original Word document structure.

What if a batch stops during conversion?

Remove the failing file, reduce document complexity or split a long document in Word. Previously completed PDFs can remain available when a later file fails; check the result list rather than assuming the entire batch succeeded.
