This policy applies to ItsyTools and all tools available on this site.

Who operates this site

ItsyTools is operated by KIM ALEXANDER HANSEN, a Norwegian sole proprietorship (organization number 935 008 131). For privacy questions or requests, email privacy@itsytools.com.

Files and tool processing

ItsyTools processes the files, text, images, and settings you provide to its tools in your browser. They are not uploaded to our servers or sent to a third-party conversion service. Your originals are not changed. The tools hold your input and results in the open page while you work; a result is saved to your device only when you choose to download or print it. Closing the page removes that working data from the page's memory.

Check a result before sharing it. Some tools create new images and omit source metadata such as location; others preserve PDF page content, including selectable text, links, forms, metadata, or hidden information. An overlay that only covers content visually, including a watermark, does not remove underlying content and is not a way to redact secrets. Blur may leave details recognizable. A Wi-Fi QR code contains the password even if it is not printed as visible text.

Site delivery and preferences

Our hosting providers process connection information, such as your IP address and request details, to deliver and protect this site. We rely on the legitimate interest in providing and securing the site for this processing. Hosting providers may set necessary cookies or similar storage for access and security and apply their own retention periods to technical records.

Your browser may store a language choice or tool settings locally so you can reuse them. Public software files may be cached by your browser; the Image to Text tool also caches its OCR language models in IndexedDB. These local preferences and software files can be removed by clearing this site's browser data. Your selected files are not stored there by the tools.

If you email us, we use your address and message to respond and handle your request, based on our legitimate interest in doing so. We keep correspondence as long as needed to deal with it and any applicable obligations. Your email provider may apply its own retention period.

Advertising, cookies, and consent

Advertising is currently off. This site publishes an AdSense account verification tag and an ads.txt file, but does not load advertising or analytics code.

If we enable advertising or analytics, we will update this policy and request consent for nonessential storage and processing where required before enabling it.

Your rights

Depending on applicable law, you may ask for access to, correction or deletion of, or restrictions on the processing of your personal data, and you may object to processing or request portability where applicable. Contact privacy@itsytools.com to make a request. You may also complain to Datatilsynet, the Norwegian data protection authority.

We will update this page if the site's data practices change.
