PDF to PowerPoint
Turn PDF pages into PowerPoint slides while preserving their appearance.
Add PDFs
Choose a PDF under 100 MB with no more than 100 pages.
Preview
Your PDF stays in your browser. Each slide contains an image of a PDF page, so its text and links are not editable.
Place PDF pages in a PowerPoint presentation
Use this tool when you want PDF pages to appear on slides without rebuilding their layout. Each selected page becomes a full-slide image in a PPTX file. You can move the image or add new PowerPoint objects, but the original text, charts and shapes are not converted into separate editable elements.
Step by step
- Open a PDF, inspect the preview and choose all pages, the current page or a custom range. Selection follows the original file order; this converter does not reorder pages.
- Choose 16:9, 4:3 or a slide ratio matching the first PDF page. Use Fit to keep the complete page visible, or Fill only when cropping its edges is acceptable. Choose PNG or JPG and a resolution.
- Set an output filename and download the PPTX. Open it in PowerPoint or another compatible viewer, check page edges and small text, and add any new editable text or annotations there.
Settings and limits
- Fit, Fill and mixed page sizes
- Fit adds white margins when page and slide ratios differ. Fill crops the image to cover the slide. One slide ratio applies to the entire presentation; matching the first page does not give each slide a different size.
- Image resolution
- The longest slide image edge is 1,280 pixels at 1×, 1,920 at 2× or 2,560 at 3×. PNG suits text and diagrams; JPG usually uses less space for photographs. Higher resolution does not make slide text editable.
- Limits and preserved features
- Open one PDF up to 100,000,000 bytes and 100 pages. Export stops if embedded image data exceeds 150,000,000 bytes. PDF hyperlinks, text selection, animations and document structure are not preserved as PowerPoint features.
Worked example
Open guide-document.pdf and select all 2 pages. Choose 16:9, Fit, PNG and 2× resolution. Download the presentation and compare it with guide-document-slides.pptx.

Example input
PDF [1, 2] → PPTX · 16:9 · PNG · 2×Expected result
PPTX [1, 2] · 1920 × 1080 pxExpect 2 slides, each containing one 1,920 × 1,080 image. The portrait pages have white side margins and remain fully visible. Clicking a page selects an image, not its individual text lines.
Questions and troubleshooting
Can I edit the original PDF text in the PPTX?
No. This export uses page images. Recreate text as new PowerPoint text boxes if needed, or use a text-oriented conversion as a starting point and rebuild the slide layout.
Why are parts of my page missing?
Fill intentionally crops edges when the ratios differ. Change to Fit or match the PDF ratio. Always inspect the exported slides before presenting or distributing them.
Why is the presentation large or conversion stops?
Every slide contains a rendered page image. Try JPG, lower resolution or fewer pages. A sharp-looking preview does not guarantee that a large export will fit in browser memory.
