Example: 500 KB
Every page fits this size. PDF links and form fields are not retained.
Files stay on your device. Photos can be compressed; PDF pages are not compressed.
Combine documents within a PDF size limit
Build one PDF from JPG, PNG, WebP and existing PDFs. This is useful for applications that require one document under a total upload limit. Image pages can be compressed; existing PDF page content is not recompressed, so a collection of large PDFs may not fit the requested limit.
Step by step
- Add your files and use the up/down arrows to order them. Pages inside each PDF stay together and keep their internal order; each image becomes one page.
- Choose the total file-size limit and paper size. Enable keeping original PDF page sizes if existing pages should retain their dimensions; image pages still use your chosen paper size.
- Create the PDF, read any skipped-file or size warning, and open the downloaded document to check page order, readability and page sizes.
Settings and limits
- Total size target
- The range is 1 KB–100 MB, with decimal units: 1 KB = 1,000 bytes and 1 MB = 1,000,000 bytes. The limit applies to the complete PDF, not each page.
- Paper and appearance
- Choose A1–A5, US Letter or US Legal. Orientation follows the content. Photos become JPEG pages with a white background; tighter targets can reduce detail. Fitting PDF pages to paper can lose links or forms.
- Input limits
- Add up to 40 files and 100 pages in total. Password-protected or unreadable PDFs are skipped. Large inputs can exhaust browser memory even within the page count.
Worked example
Download document-a.pdf and document-b.pdf. Add A first, then B; choose 1 MB and keep original PDF page sizes. Create and download the PDF.
Download the example files
Expect two pages: Document A on A4, followed by Document B on US Letter. Reverse the file order and recreate it to see the order change. These small sample PDFs fit under the target; your own larger PDFs may not.
Questions and troubleshooting
Why is no download offered at my chosen limit?
The tool withholds the output when it cannot meet the target. Raise the limit or remove files. If existing PDFs dominate the size, lowering image quality cannot shrink their content.
Can I rearrange individual pages inside an added PDF?
The arrows reorder whole files. Use Organize PDF pages first when you need to extract, remove or reorder pages inside a PDF.
Will forms and links survive?
Fitting PDF pages to another paper size can remove interactive features. Keeping original sizes preserves more page content, but check links and forms in the result. Combining files is not redaction.
